Airness for Celebrity Games in Rome

Celebrity Games is an event that highlights the significance of basketball and its charitable impact through solidarity matches involving children, teenagers, and renowned personalities.

The Oppio Playground, a picturesque location in the historic center of Rome, hosted the event, which for the first time took place over two days.
On Friday, May 26th, the Rome School Basket Cup 3x3, a project by the Italian Basketball League 3x3 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, involved and brought onto the court middle and high school students from the capital. 500 students from various districts of Rome competed, enjoying fun and adrenaline.

On Saturday, May 27th, it was time for traditional 5-on-5 basketball with three charity matches: the Italian Sports Federation for the Deaf match, the Special Basketball match, and the Wheelchair Basketball match.

To conclude the event, the Celebrity Game featured a basketball challenge between two teams composed of artists, musicians, singers, actors, directors, producers, professional athletes, and TV presenters.
Among the 40+ personalities present were Carl Brave, Noemi, Valentina Vignali, Gregorio Paltrinieri, former NBA champion Linton Johnson, Massimiliano Rosolino, and many others.
