On Thursday, February 16, 2023, our Milan Store hosted the presentation of Christopher Goldman Ward's book, a childhood friend of Kobe Bryant. Their friendship dates back to the period when the NBA basketball legend lived in Italy, and it reveals his lesser-known and more intimate sides.
The event, presented by Jacopo Pozzati, had two special guests: the author of the book, Christopher Ward, and Alessandro Mamoli, a former basketball player for Olimpia Milano under Mike D'Antoni, a former youth basketball coach, and currently a sports journalist and TV host for Sky Sport. These prominent figures provided a narrative of Kobe from different perspectives—Chris shared personal and intimate memories, while Alessandro focused on his sporting and competitive journey.
